  • What is the big deal of having the advertising links at the footer? they are located at way bottom of my site and nobody will ever see that!
    Imagine you have a brick-and-mortar store, and at the back of stores, they are several porno posters that ask people to punch in the websites for FREE Video Chats. Yes, there will be only a handful of people ever saw the posters, but those who saw it will think that your store is related to porn. Same thing will happen to your WordPress sites if you use one of those themes with spammy links. Worst case scenario, the PHP codes that generate the spammy links could lead to your website being hacked!
